Framed

A collection of procured art finally got framed (and some even got hung!) this week. We are so productive.

Slice of Life Series . Norman Hatton
(3 different prints: rainbow chard, enoki mushrooms, peppers)
Purchased in an upstairs gallery in Millbrook, Ontario while biding time so we didn't show up to the wedding too early. The prints were just too crisp to pass up and add some color to our kitchen.


Unknown title . Sierra (cannot figure out the last name signed)
This was bought off the artist displaying her craft on the streets of New Orleans. The kicker is Daniel bought in while on a bachelor party trip, of all things. Yeah, I think he endured a bit of crap for it.


Marble paper mosaic . Sue Zajac
Purchased in the Anchorage Museum gift shop. Despite all the interesting art galleries in downtown Anchorage, this little gem caught my attention and check out how nicely it compliments some Mexican pottery I inherited (or stole from my mom, I can't remember). Plus, I think the grid of the different marbled papers play off the mirror it sits in front of, which is a mosaic of smaller mirrors.
