Okay, I know it is poor form to go from talking decor and other lovely things to violent crimes, but this caught my attention. So much so that I introduce a new series: 'Unlisted', my no-list-to-be-found entry.
The online version of the St. Louis Post Dispatch is stltoday.com. Recently they have been running an ad that I think is in poor taste, both figuratively and literally. The first time I saw it my jaw dropped open and I clutched my chest: I was reading an article about a murder and next thing I know blood is splattering over the text...seconds later a McRib logo overlays the text and I realize the blood is actually supposed to be BBQ sauce. What kind of twisted person pairs the Crime Beat section with this McRib ad? Here are the screen shots so judge for yourself (keep in mind the sauce actively splatters as you start to read the article, oh and then gets squeegeed off).

Considering the number of ignorant comments that accompany any crime story on stltoday, I think they really pegged the McRib demographic.
