Weekend Recap

This weekend was a series of ups and downs: up = events in St. Louis that were awesome, down = Indio was a sick little guy for half of the weekend, but had a good recovery. The weekend started off with a fantastic concert by the St. Louis Symphony in Forest Park, at the Grand Basin on Art Hill. A gorgeous site with fantastic music -- an awesome sunset made a quick cameo -- and capped off with fireworks. On Friday Daniel and I were able to get a quick bite at Hiro Sushi and followed with a movie (The Guard) at the Tivoli on the Delmar Loop. Saturday was spent vegging out as little Indio was under the weather and we had a nice rotation of movies. On Sunday, he woke up ready to play and we went to the St. Louis Art Fair in Clayton and popped in to the Demun neighborhood for a sweet treat and a little playground time after the art fair. I forgot how adorable the Demun area is, complete with Oh Lolli Lolli Candy Shoppe, Kaldi's Coffee, Sasha's Wine Bar, Jimmy's on the Park and Demun Oyster Bar.
