What Goes Up Must Come Down

The wall of frames I was so pleased with is down. All the frames are stacked nicely, the Ooks are out of the wall and the plaster is patched. The new, new plan is to put up another Elfa wall system. This will be the third one in the room and before you know it, we'll be putting in cubicle partitions (the last part was just a joke...I think.)

The new shelving will afford us more storage for some of those persistent stacks of papers that slowly migrate around the room. Stayed tuned for project updates and other exciting reports from the home office. 

Side note: This week I discovered the laws of physics and home decorating are one in the same:

• What goes up must come down . Law of gravity and art
• It is impossible to create a [thermodynamic] process which is perfectly efficient . 3rd law of thermodynamics and office design
• To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction . 3rd law of motion and design taste

This means Sir Isaac Newton is also, like, the grand poobah of home decor. How d'ya like them apples?
